FAQs

How far in advance should I book my wedding?
We like to book our weddings a year or more in advance to give ample time for you to secure vendors where needed and to start your planning. If we have dates available, however, please contact us to arrange a phone call, tour and a conversation about your wedding vision.

What size wedding can you accommodate?
We can accommodate weddings for up to 300 guests. Our on site lodging, dining facility, and activity areas are perfect for all sized groups.

What is your payment policy?
A $5,000 deposit is due at the signing of the contract. The rest of the balance is spread out over the 6 months leading up to the wedding weekend.

Can guests sleep on site?
We can accommodate up to 300 guests in our private and open air cabins, see our lodging page for specific cabin details.

Is there more than one location on site to get married?
Adirondack Camp boasts many ideal spots to tie the knot around the peninsula, including views of the south and north of Lake George. Book a tour today and see for yourself.

Do you host weddings year-round?
Adirondack Camp is available to rent from mid-May to early October. With the exception of mid-June to mid-August for our summer camp program.

Do you provide babysitters?
A babysitter can be provided after a conversation with our Director of Events to identify needs and availability.

Are there fixed arrival and departure times?
We have a standard arrival time of 1PM on the 1st day of the event and a departure time of 12PM on the final day of the event. You can discuss in more detail with our Director of Events.

Can two events happen simultaneously on my event day
No, we do not book two events on the same day. You have exclusive rights to the venue during your event.

What is required for cleanup?
All rentals, personal items, and anything else brought in for your event must be removed from the property on the last day of our rental. You have one hour after your event ends for time for cleanup.

Is smoking permitted?
Smoking is only permitted in the designated smoking areas located near the dining hall.

How can I schedule a tour?
You can either email , or fill out our information request form.

Will you decorate for me and help me plan my event?
We will assist in the preparation and decoration of the ceremony location and main reception hall. We have a wedding planner on our preferred vendor list that can help with your event. We encourage you to identify one person that will help plan and manage the itinerary, set-up/take-down of vendors, and decoration of the wedding areas.

Do you have a preferred vendor list?
Yes, we do have a number of vendors that we have worked with in the past that we can recommend. Please reach out to our Director of Events.

Is there parking?
We have ample on-site parking available for you and your guests.

Will there be on-site staff to assist us on our wedding day?
Yes, along with the Director of Events there will be a number of staff to help make your day special.

Is there a place on the property for the wedding party to get ready?
Yes, we have multiple locations for the wedding party and guests to get ready. We have versatile spaces that can be used for hair and makeup.
